An Investigation on Effectiveness of Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test in Diagnosis of Visual-Spatial Disorganizations among Selected Psychotic Patients

Screening patients for psychotic features can pose a problem when using verbal based tests. Establishment of validity non-verbal screening scale enhance diagnostic specificity and address challenges associated with The goal this study is to check whether Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test-II will serve as specific tool distinguishing between healthy population. A total 40 participants 22 males 18 females were employed in the study. They made 10 diagnosed schizophrenia, another depressions features, substance/medication induced disorders adults control. Their ages ranged from 20 - 65 mean age 35.70 standard deviation 6.04. control group was staff hospital that comparable terms age, gender studies. All available who met inclusive criteria willing participate selected. instruments (BVMGT-II) (WHODAS 2.0). design designs One Way ANOVA data analysis. findings showed BVMGT-II discriminated disorder It recommended should be instrument by clinical/neuropsychologists clinical psychological assessment
